All Bourne Rec Pickleball Lessons are taught by Straight Up Pickleball, founded by Laura and Karl Uggerholt. Straight Up's experienced and caring Coaching Team will offer comprehensive pickleball lessons, allowing players to advance through a consistent curriculum at their own pace. The instructors are excited about the season and look forward to sharing what they know about a sport they love with great people!


This fun and engaging one-hour lesson format includes playing games with three students on a court with one of two experienced coaches and is appropriate for intermediate and advanced students. Strategy and shot selection are reviewed and discussed to hone in on what transpired and identify alternative options. Students will receive specific and actionable feedback! 

Please note, students will be grouped based on level of experience. This clinic is for people who are comfrotable with the basics of pickleball and have played pickleball before. Newer to the game but not a beginner? Check out our "2 and a Coach!"
